The Blue sea of Ibrox

I would urge all Rangers supporters to e-mail Rangers and request that the dirge that is Simply the best be replaced by a song such as this Blue sea of Ibrox. It is a Rangers song, and could be inspirational, something which STB is the opposite. If you do send an e-mail to them please 'blind copy' me at rangerstunes@yahoo.co.uk. This will allow me to guage whether they will listen to us. By monitoring the number who actually do mail them. If in fact any of you do!!

 

Apart from singing, there is nothing more inspiring for the players and fans, than waving scarfs when singing songs. This is something we seemed to have got out of the habit of doing. In the past the Gers fans put on great display. Which inspired the song the Blue sea of Ibrox I think this is something we should attempt to have returned to us.

I would appreciate if there are bears out there who have good photo's of the Gers fans showing 'the colours' if they could send them and I will put them on the site, to let everyone see the wonderful sight.

 

Singing.

Compare the singing for example of the Scottish Rugby crowd singing Flower of Scotland, to that of the football fans singing it. No comparison, the rugby boys are streets ahead, because they sing it slower. We have a tendancy to do this when singing songs like Follow Follow, it loses it feeling when it is sung at '100 miles an hour' or is it 30 beats a second? Just explaining another thing that get under my skin! Another thing we are unable to tackle.
